Design Research
Technological development often feels as a self-fulfilling prophecy. As designers, we should be proactive in promoting a plurality of tales about what future human-technology relations could and should be.
Maria Luce Lupetti is an Assistant Professor in Interaction and Critical Design at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, TU Delft (NL), and a core member of the AiTech Initiative on Meaningful Human Control over AI Systems. In her research, she leverages her background in industrial and systemic design to define novel approaches for the responsible development of technology. In particular, she conducts critical and participatory design investigations to engage with and challenge dominant assumptions surrounding the development of robotics and AI technologies.
