Lianne Simonse

A new groundbreaker role for strategic design involves designing collective intelligence.

Lianne Simonse is an assistant professor of Strategic Design, researching and teaching in areas where design, strategy and AI technology intersect: community models of foresight, future values designs, socio-technical system design, care models and design for AI in Health. She has published in refereed journals including Design Issues, Journal of Medical Innovation Research, Design for Health and Journal of Product Innovation Management. Her academic background combines with over 20 years of innovation strategy experience for the health and IT sectors including ventures, hospitals and corporates. She is the author of the book “Design Roadmapping: a guidebook for future foresight techniques”. Her mission is to help others in designing desired future visions and evolutionary pathways towards them.
