Participatory design is a powerful means to investigate alternatives to exploitative surveillance capitalism infrastructures.
I am an interdisciplinary designer and researcher interested in systems theory, law, social sciences, and ethical design. I received an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design, New York. My work explored how design and technological mediation can offer a critical lens to examine human behaviour and society. Having worked in the telecommunications industry as an Experience Designer, I am now interested in examining the cross-sectoral interaction of socio-technical systems through systems thinking and co-design methods. I believe technological and economic development must ensure social advancement by asking “why” and “for whom” these systems are built.
