    Critical technical practice
We must invent new ways to design ethical technical futures that will never be easily predictable.

Irina Shklovski is a Professor of Communication and Computing at the University of Copenhagen, working across the Computer Science and Communication departments. Her projects address ethics in technology development, privacy, data leakage on mobile devices, and the sense of powerlessness people experience in the face of massive personal data collection. She is concerned with how everyday digital innovation demands ever greater visibility from technology users, becoming increasingly “creepy.”
