Sensing Care Through Design (Prototeam 2)
Exploring care-related scenarios in private and public spaces
Our project, ‘Sensing Care’, engaged with sensing technologies in varying contexts, ranging from homes to urban spaces. It aimed to address the embedded complexities and tensions of trust and privacy in such care spaces. We worked on developing design methods to investigate and envision future interactions between sensing technologies, care receivers, and the care network around them from the standpoint of the affected.
Working with experts from disciplines of machine learning, robotics, nursing studies, and healthcare, we developed theatre-based workshops and storytelling methods to explore different care-related scenarios in private and public spaces.
In this prototeam, we partnered with ACRC, AMS, and Clearbox AI.
